Bark Butter® in Regular or Hot Pepper!

If you've been in the store, you've probably heard us talk about Bark Butter! This spreadable suet can be easily smeared on tree bark or a Bark Butter Feeder to attract birds such as chickadees, nuthatches, sparrows, warblers, wrens, woodpeckers, towhees, Brown Creepers, Black-headed Grosbeaks, robins and more. Store owners Barbara & Dan Gleason even spread it above the ports on their tube feeders, making almost all of their feeders Bark Butter feeders. The Bushtit flock loves perching on the tube feeders to eat Bark Butter!

Available only at Wild Birds Unlimited, Bark Butter is made from suet, peanut butter, corn and some calcium, for a high energy treat your birds will love.

Jim Carpenter, avid nature enthusiast and founder of Wild Birds Unlimited, created Bark Butter more than 20 years ago and used it to attract Brown Creepers, but discovered that it attracted many more birds. As of March 2019, there are 149 different bird species that love Bark Butter!
